Who We Are
Our Mission Statement

As a people of God , we joyfully proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ,
we strengthen our love for God through Word and Sacraments.
In sharing these gifts God has given us, we serve the needs of one another,
surrounding communities and the world.
Spirit-filled - Spirit led,we invite others into the life of faith
nurtured in this body of believers called Bethany Lutheran Church.

We are a Lutheran Church that is confessional and is liturgical and believes in Scripture.
We believe in Word and Sacrament.  We receive communion every week.

Our services are on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m.
On Sunday, January 29, 2012 there will only be one service at 9a.m.

We are a church of believers who care about one another.  We laugh, cry, pray and work together.
We have a desire to keep learning more about the Lord through Scripture and through attending weekly service.
We are a warm and welcoming group of people who grow together with the Lord's help.

We have an active Sunday School for ages Pre-School through Confirmation Class.  It is held during our 9:00 a.m. service weekly.
Our weekly Bible Study is held on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Walter Johnson Room in Chapel Hall.
