God's Hands

The hands of God saved my life.
He suffered and endured my pain
and he took it all in strife.

Who We Are

Our Mission Statement


As a people of God , we joyfully proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ,
We strengthen our love for God through Word and Sacraments.
In sharing these gifts God has given us, we serve the needs of one another,
surrounding communities and the world.
Spirit - filled -Spirit led , we invite others into the life of faith,
Nurtured in this body of believers called Bethany Lutheran Church.

We are a Lutheran Church that is confessional and liturgical and believes in scripture.
We believe in Word and Sacrament. We receive communion every week. 
Our services are on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and at 10:30a.m.

Our Ash Wednesday service is at 4p.m. and at 7:30p.m.
Our Palm sunday service will be held on April 1, 2012 at 10 a.m.
Maundy Thursday service will be held on April 5, 2012 at 4p.m. and 7:30 p.m (footwashing service)
Our Good Friday Tenebrae service will be held on April 6, 2012 at 7:30p.m.
 Easter Sunday worship will be held on April 8, 2012 at 10 a.m.

We have an active Sunday School for ages Pre-school through Confirmation class. It is held during our 9:00 a.m. service weekly.
Our weekly bible study is held on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Walter Johnson Room in the Chapel Hall.
